My sympathy to Sherrie's family. (I started calling her Sherrie at Oakley Elementary, and she told me then she liked to be called that. I have thought of her as Sherrie ever since.) We didn't see too much of each other at Withrow High, but got re-acquainted as neighbors in Mt. Washington, and traded plants and stories about our younger days. She thoughtfully gave me copies of all the old elementary class photos I had lost. She obviously loved her family--showed me all her pictures of kids and grandkids. I hope your precious memories of your mother will bring you peace.
